When the pressure of the tasks to be performed this week comes creeping into your  mind on Sunday evening (or whenever the beginning of your work week is), remind yourself of this truth:

I am a "TS"…
I am a Task Survivor

You survived last week’s work pressure and the weeks before last, this week’s tasks will not take you down.

Do the following:
  • Make a list of those daunting tasks (prioritizing your list from the most important all the way down). This helps you not feel overwhelmed
  • Start by knocking off the most daunting/important. This way you don’t have to worry about them later on.
  • Communicate your execution plans to your team lead/members. This will help you all be on the same page and  also eliminate time pressure
  • You’ve got this. Remember you’re the task survivor and no one else will slay these tasks better than you my dear
  • And finally, don’t forget to strikethrough the completed tasks on your list. This gives you some satisfaction and momentum for what’s next.

So go strong, slaying your tasks this week.
Cheering you on from the workplace,

TK Henry-Okafor
